we will carry out the usual enquiries in respect of the property. These are
local council rate certificate (to ascertain rate for adjustment)
local water authority certificate (to ascertain rate for adjustment)
land tax certificate (to ensure there is no charge for land tax)
there are other enquiries we can carry out at your request, if you're concerned about certain issues including:
state rail authority (if there is a railway adjacent or if you are aware of a proposed railway corridor)
transgrid (this is the authority responsible for large electricity transmission towers)
local electricity supply authority
local council notices (to ensure there are no outstanding notice from council)
mines subsidence certificate (if the property is in a mines subsidence area)
other searches, for instance rural land protection board, heritage search etc
rta certificate (to ensure the property is not subject to any road widening or resumption proposals)
到底大家都会要solicitor做那些enquiry? 需要收费么(email里没说)?

一般有个基本费用，包括了些必须的过户查询。同时会给你一个列表，包括了一些可选的查询，每项收费多少也会同时列出的。
