我去过几个Tech school，那几个好像都是面向Tafe的，主要优势是学生在学校上学的时间算实习期，像电工、builder等需要很长的实习期的，在学校已经混过去了高中3年。
不过这几个新的，看起来高大上些。

Secondary school students from the Monash area will have access to cutting edge learning at the Monash Tech School, which will be hosted by Monash University.
The Monash Tech School will be a high-tech learning environment, with innovative education programs, linked with local industry, delivering real world learning to students. Students from 13 participating schools in Monash will be able to access the Tech School throughout the year for specialised programs.
With a focus on medical technologies and pharmaceuticals, and new energy technologies, the Monash Tech School will emphasise the skills needed for the 21st Century including vital science, technology, engineering and mathematics skills. It will enhance the programs that schools provide and help give students the skills they need for the jobs of the future.

ARCHITECT
The architect for the temporary facility is Brand Architects.
The architect for the permanent facility is yet to be appointed.
BUILDER
A builder is yet to be appointed.
SITE AND HOST
Monash University will host the permanent Monash Tech School at its Clayton Campus in 2019. A temporary facility at Federation Training in Chadstone will host the Monash Tech School temporarily between mid-2017 and 2019.
The Director of the Monash Tech School is Mr Ashley van Krieken.
PROGRESS UPDATE
The project is currently in an intensive planning and development phase, with the local partnership group progressing through streams of work that include curriculum development, infrastructure design, staffing, technology and equipment requirements, transport and how this central resource will service participating Schools.
INDUSTRY AND EDUCATION FOCUS
The Monash Tech School will have an education focus aligned to industries that are predicted to experience strong economic and employment growth:

New energy technologies

Secondary students from 13 partner schools will have access to high-tech learning at the cutting edge Monash Tech School.
