问题:请问投资房卖出后缴纳增值税,是以Contract Date还是Settlement (Transfer) Date来确定属于哪个财政年度?
例如:
2016年5月22日Contract Date卖出投资房,该房在2016年7月2日Settlement (Transfer) Date给买家了。
请问,如果我需缴纳投资房的资本增值税,那我这个投资房交税应算在15-16年度内呢,还是应算在16-17财政年度内呢?

The ATO's administrative position is that even though the CGT event is triggered when the contract is signed, you do not need to report the capital gain or loss in the return until settlement occurs.

Once settlement occurs, the capital gain will need to be reported in the tax return for the year in which the contract was entered into. If the return for that year has already been lodged then it would be necessary to request an amended assessment, the general amendment period limits should not apply here.
