"Site announced for $479 million Ryde Hospital redevelopment
Health services will be transformed for the Ryde local community, with the existing Ryde Hospital campus to undergo a major redevelopment.
A community hospital of the future will be built at Ryde, following a thorough site selection process including assessment of clinical requirements, hospital and community feedback alongside technical assessments from expert independent advisers.
What services will the redevelopment include?
The major redevelopment of Ryde Hospital will create a state-of-the-art facility that will best meet the needs of the area now and into the future. Preserving the historic Denistone House, the $479 million investment will provide additional and enhanced emergency, critical care, medicine and surgery, community and ambulatory care (outpatient) services as well as improved landscaping, urban spaces and car parking.
Fostering new technologies to enhance the delivery of healthcare, the investment will strengthen the relationship with Macquarie University, creating a range of benefits including teaching and research opportunities alongside clinical placements."
关键词“existing Ryde Hospital campus”。之前就地址问题征求过意见，现在确定在原地址redevelop。其实本来的Ryde医院挺好，好在小而精，只有附近居民会来。现在扩大了，不知道停车怎么样会不会像那些大医院一样动辄一小时7，8刀的停车费，但是肯定有益于Ryde 社区的。
