最近因工作之便,得到最新消息,最新Complying Development 的改变从24/02/2014开始生效,其中要求要更早地通知邻居,在得到APPROVAL 之前14天就要通知邻居,规定如下:
In addition, changes to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 provide additional requirements for neighbours to be informed about complying development where:
◾An assessment for a Complying Development Certificate must be determined in 20 days
◾Neighbours must be notified of complying development 14 days prior to approval
◾The owner must provide neighbour notification 7 days prior to works commencing
以前的规定是拿到CDC 之后开工之前通知邻居即可。因此,与之相关的GRANNY FLAT 的审批需要更早做准备,更早地和邻居沟通。

政府的政策随时都是有可能变的,另外council征收的contribution fee 也逐年不同,有些council目前已经开始征收比较高的contribution fee, 因此需要把握机会。目前来说,政府还是鼓励大家做granny flat的。

是的,有的政策其实还是放宽了。但是现在要提前通知邻居,如果是Complying development ,邻居就算有意见,也不是做不了,但邻居有知情权。早点让他们知道早点沟通也是好事。

这句话是否可以这样理解 - 不管邻居怎样反对,都是没有的。
有没有TX 碰到这样一种情况,因邻居反对 而改变Granny Flat 的设计。
