去年把工会年费423元报在了'other work-related expenses'里,结果收到了一封警告信,说是报太多了。据说所有的work related expenses不能超过300元吧。那么这个工会年费该报在哪里才正确呢?否则又要收警告了

WORK-RELATED EXPENSES不超过300刀不需要证明,超过300刀需要收据什么的。没有规定说WORK-RELATED EXPENSES不可以报超过300刀的。

Union Fees - D5 other work related expenses (must keep tax receipts/invoice for 5 years)
If union fee was stated on your PAYG Payment Summary, then don't worry about it. Just keep the copy of your PAYG Payment Summary.

谢谢以上两位,貌似的确还是在 D5 Other work related expenses里面报union fee。那今年还是准备后再收一次警告信吧。。。
这封信的Title和大致内容是:
“Help with claiming your work related expenses
We are writing to help you correctly claim your work related expenses in your 2012 tax return.
A review of our records shows you made claims of $521 in your 2011 tax return.
......"
是不是只要超过了300元都会收到这封信,看这封信的语气觉得我是报的不正确什么的。怕被盯上,但我报的事实又没有乱报呀,工会收据也保存的

我已经是工会MEMBER 3年了。。。
但是之前都不知道可以报税。。。今年让UNION给了个UNION FEE STATEMENT。。来报。。。
会很麻烦吗? 我的耶差不多500多哦。。一年

You can amend your tax returns for last two years to bring in your union fees as tax deduction. However, don't ask your tax agent to do it for you, because your tax refund would be offset by tax agent fees. Eventually, you don't have benefits.
