在下第一次申请退税，啥都不懂。刚收到了雇主的payment summary，准备进行paper退税。个人情况比较简单，我能想到的所需材料如下：

bank statement
tax return form
receipt for claimed items
如有缺漏，还请补充。
另外请问bank statement是不是要付费才能办？而且一定要去银行网点办理么？
ATO的寄送地址怎么写？

同问，我之前听同事说第一次退税必须通过纸质文件的，去ATO OFFICE或者POST领取，填好以后寄回去，不知道是否这样，如果可以网上操作最好，省事多了，请过来人介绍一下经验吧，多谢！

Lodgment options
Online
We offer two free, convenient and secure ways to lodge your own tax return online - myTax and e-tax. Lodging online means we can pre-fill your return with information from your previous tax return and with information provided by your employer, bank, government agencies and others. The longer you wait to start your tax return the more information will be pre-filled with most information available by early-August.
Tax returns lodged online are usually finalised within 12 business days.

Before you lodge online you need to create a myGov account and link to the ATO.
If you're lodging your first tax return, you may receive an error message when trying to link your myGov account to the ATO because we don't have the information needed to confirm your identity yet. We should have received this information by early-August.
