dont think so unless you sell the car higher than when you bought, meaning you have some capital gain.
For example, if you buy it as 10K and sell it at 15K, after all cost. Then you should be taxed on 5K.

1. If the car is solely used for private purpose, it's not subject to income tax.
2. If the car is used in your business, at least part of the gain on sale is liable for income tax , or the loss is entitled for a tax deduction.
3. It's irrelevant whether the car was brand new or second hand when you bought it.
4. Sale of motor vehicles is not subject to capital gain tax, but income tax.
