Can I claim back the 30% of child care fees during 2007-2008 with e-tax? This is be the first time to use e-tax for this regard. Many thanks.

07年开始child care rebate 不在纳入tax return, 也就是不归税务局管，由centerlink 处理，所以搂主需要去centerlink询问

30%的Child Care Rebate不走ATO了，由CentreLink直接处理了。
所以如果楼主的孩子是去的approved的Child Care/Vacation Care，你会有CRN号码，那么Centre Link会自动给你算多少的Rebate。从今年7月开始，Rebate将会有50%，Centre Link每个季度都会给你计算和转账。
但是如果楼主还没有CRN，那么你需要去Centre Link告诉他们你正在使用那些Child Care和Vacation Care，或者before/after school care。

I should consult Centre Link for this. We have never received any rebates from them. I though they would let me know at least. By checking the monthly receipt, I noted the Full Week CCB rate, usually a couple of dollars less than the normal hourly rate.
