租约到明年中,租客说只要2周 notice 就行。中介也是这么说。我印象里是应该至少4周的notice,我是不是该换中介了?谢谢

这是中介给我的邮件:
The tenant lease expires next year. The regulation states if the tenant want to break lease before it expires, the minimal notice is 2 weeks. But there is compensation to the owner of a break fee for them breaking their term of the lease. If they have stayed less than 1/2 the period of the lease, the compensation is 6 weeks. If they have stayed longer than 1/2 the period of the lease is 4 weeks.

如果是无法律允许的理由break lease early,而lease agreement里有break lease clause,租客不需要给notice,只要按照break lease clause付break fee就可以了
