英文先驱报2月17日报道，去年7月19日，在奥克兰市中心Alpha公寓发生了一起双重凶杀案，经警方确认，两名死者都是男性，分别是David Allan Roberts和Deni Rudiantonio，他们都倒卧在公寓的其中一个单位里。随后一名30岁的伊拉克男子在该公寓的11楼的阳台上威胁要跳楼并且要自残。
经过紧张的对峙之后，这名伊拉克男子被逮捕，并遭到谋杀罪名的指控。
今天，这名男子在奥克兰地方法院出庭，他在法庭上承认双重谋杀以及严重抢劫罪名。
他将会还押监房，今年3月18日接受审判。
