no way for depreciation ........ highest at the 1st year then it gets lower and lower each year ....... possibly for the landlord to charge a higher rent........ if for unit or apartment, strata starts from the lowest ...........

you have time - to do the renovation, to spend with the property, to search for low price bargain property then 2nd hand no doubt at all
if you do not have a lot of time but want to slowly become wealthy, then brand new or off the plan (the best is to become a developer)

怎可能折舊會一樣？折舊最高是在房子建好後第一年，往後每年遞減！
另，新房出租，業主可以提高租金，還有要是unit or apartment，你需交的管理費會是從最低開始……

oh well depends on how you view it, like some ppl like to purchase house some ppl like to purchase unit for investment ....... if u ask me, i would never wanna to get an old apartment, think about the maintenance cost and strata cost ........
