There is no credit for the elbow grease

Even though he hasn't attained any achivement, he's made contribution, or at least he deserves recognition of his effort.
评论
个人觉得elbow grease 不太好,因为它的英文解释是 “hard physical work, esp. vigorous polishing or cleaning”

http://www.waybeta.com/news/1984 ... joint-evaluation/4/
...Of course, to be fair, the second generation in the plot is also quite a lot of effort in the next, it is necessary to take into account the generation of content and interface, but also the ideological convergence, even if there is no credit for the elbow grease it. And if the down bias input into, the second generation still tells a moving story.

After all his hardwork, he at least deserves recongnition for his efforts if not for merit.

还找了这样一句话,供大家参考 "I have no credit for the elbow grease, no elbow grease also has fatigue" 后半句,可以达意,但是主谓宾语不是那么搭配的。

I have had a well formed plan in mind

I may not have made any contribution, but I' ve gone through affliction, or at least prostration。

A hero walks along the shore and sees the rolling waves, and then he bursts out laughing.
Past events have been carried away by the waves, only the events of the present are remembered.
God smiles and looks upon the fates of all human beings, and these roll like the waves, up and down.
Who will succeed? Who will fail? Only God knows.
The mountains smile as they look at the distant dribbling rains.
The waves take away the memories of past heroes.
The warm breeze brings the feelings of loneliness upon the people.
But when the sun falls, it brings feelings of passion and optimism.
The people all happily laugh and smile, there is no longer any sad or lonely feeling in the world.
The passion and optimism make us smile wistfully.

The seas laugh, lashing on both shores
Carried in the waves, we have only here and now
The heavens laugh at the troubled world
Only they know, who is to win and lose
The mountains laugh, the rain is afar
When the waves grow old, the world still goes on
The clear winds laugh, such a feeling of solitude
Bygone camaraderie leaving behind a tinge of melancholy
The earth laughs, solitude no more
My sentiments laughing still
