I made up this title to describe how uncomfortable to stand in a group of professionals wearing suits and exchanging their namecards, while you are just a student wearing jeans and school bag.
Sometimes, the Chinese old saying does have its value and sense. People are categarised by their levels.
I was like invisible last night in a party held for professional Chinese in Australia.
After only 10 minutes, I made up an excuse and then ran away……….
Shame on me………..

My 2 cents...
business card may be a better term. namecard is chinglish ;)
"old Chinese saying" rather than "Chinese old saying".
I assume you meant "People are categorized by what they wear?" Or I misunderstood?
Chinese Professionals. Again, sequence of adjectives.
"and then" is duplicating each other. just "and" will do.
