Create wealth is the common expression. Make wealth... Sounds like making a sandwich... Just doesn't sound right...

"Create" is the passion-soaked version of it, and yes it's more popular, since most ppl who talk about it are from a finance/marketing background. This guy, however, is a programmer. Analyze without emotion is what he does, and is what I like ;)

I think he deliberately chose that word, because the essay discusses the difference between money and wealth, he wanted to say that instead of "making money", we should "make wealth".

其实我觉得他妙就妙在用的是"How to Make Wealth" 而不是"How to Create Wealth", 如果用的是"create wealth", 这就是个再普通不过的题目, 根本就没有"How to Make Wealth"那种暗藏的教育大家鱼和"渔"也就是"money" 和 "wealth"的趣味和层次了, 但是他可不是普通的programmer, 他还是个essayist, 连黑山老妖都觉得他用错了词, 不免让我反省下到底象我这样的移民, 该不该写英语的时候用这样的小聪明呢? 应该可见如果是象我这样的想学一下这种聪明, 多半是被别人认为是语法错误的.
