这个中文里一般表示“与”、“和”的意思，英文翻译就是and；还有“引用”的意思，至于“引用”的意思，我也没怎么见过

i. e. 和 e. g. 比较相似，读的时候没问题，写的时候容易用错。
i. e. 就是 that is,中文：换个说法就是。。。
e. g.就是 for example， 中文：举个例子说。。。
BTW这个贴子是讲符号的，你问缩略语可就跑题了。
