今年晚些时候，在教育部长Julia Gillard的My School 网站上将会公开展示，澳大利亚每个学校的财政状况。

My School负责人称，澳大利亚每个学校的财政状况将会在今年的晚些时候，于My School 网站的第二版与2010全国识字和算术测试一同公布。

今天SMH也报道了MYSCHOOL的下一步计划就是公开学校的收入数据，“让学校所受的资助和其学生学业表现应该相匹配”的呼声很高。
当然这也受到了私校联盟的反对。

悉尼的最富的私校一年可以拿到850万的政府资助，一年最富有的私校的收入可高达4200万，比如在Summer Hill的Trinity Grammar School。
著名女校Pymble Ladies College去年拿了政府620万，自己学校学费和其他收入达到了3850万。
King School去年拿了政府560万，自己学校学费和其他收入达到了3200万。
在Bellevue Hill的贵族学校Cranbrook School去年拿了政府320万，自己学校学费和其他收入达到了3300万。

据估计新南威尔士州至少有10个私校每年的收入（包括政府资助）超过了3500万澳币，这差不多是两倍于相同规模公立学校的支出。

THE Federal Government's new My School website failed to reveal the wealthiest private schools in Sydney each received up to $8.5 million in annual government subsidies and up to $42 million in private income.

Teachers and principals yesterday said reporting of the income data, which was supposed to be released on the website as part of contextual information for each school, is vital to judging their performance.

The Government has delayed the reporting of the income data until a second version of the site is displayed later this year. A federal election is expected to be called in the second half of this year.

The delay follows complaints from the private school lobby, which said the information should not be reported until it was made comparable with public school income. Independent schools use their income for capital works, interest on loans and insurance, which are not incorporated in funding allocations for individual public schools.

A Greens NSW MP, John Kaye, said the website should not have gone ahead without the full set of data, leaving people guessing about the wealth of the schools they are judging.

"Without information on the amount of money collected in fees and the subsidies paid by state and federal governments, the website's claim to provide 'rich contextual information' is nonsense,'' he said.

"Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Verity Firth are keen to promote their so-called 'transparency agenda' so long as it does not offend the wealthy private school lobby.

"They have boosted their own profiles at the expense of schools serving disadvantaged communities.''

Government figures show that Trinity Grammar School in Summer Hill received $8.5 million in combined state and federal grants last year. Dr Kaye said the school also received an estimated $42 million in fees and other income.

Pymble Ladies College received $6.2 million in state and Commonwealth funding last year and raised an estimated $38.5 million in fees and other income. The Kings School in Parramatta received about $5.6 million from the state and federal governments and $32 million in private income. Cranbrook School in Bellevue Hill received $3.2 million in government revenue and an estimated $33 million in private revenue.

''We estimated that at least 10 wealthy NSW private schools pulled in more than $35 million a year in fees and other charges as well as government subsidies. That is substantially more than twice the amount equivalent-sized public schools would have spent,'' Dr Kaye said.

The executive director of the Association of Independent Schools NSW, Geoff Newcombe, said the Federal Government has held financial information about independent schools for a number of years.

''Our concern has always been that whatever information goes up is comparable so the three school sectors can be appropriately compared,'' he said.

这些私校好像并不上市，那么他们的拥有人要么是一个家族，要么是多个家族，这才叫闷声发大财。让我不由得想起了我知道的一个不肯上市的，神秘的矿业公司

我刚来澳洲的时候对工会之类的组织很有好感，但随着了解的增多，对他们越来越反感；这次教师工会的表演，让我彻底对他们失望了。

应该公布他们的财政状况，把他们的真面目公布于世，看看政府的钱到底是用在教学上，还是进到那个口袋了。
