第一次申请当志愿者，不知道这么给他们发EMAIL是不是合适。。。希望英语高手能够多多指教。嘿嘿

I am an enthusiastic girl who is not afraid of hard work or challenges, I am punctual, loyal, have lots of energy, work well within a team environment and am always courteous with the public and the people I wok with. Also, I learn quickly and am self motivated. I am 20 years old who like to chat with elder people because I like to listen the stories from grandparents, which can enrich my experience and broaden my horizons. At the same time, I can bring elder people the culture and stories of China for I am a Chinese girl.

Please give me a chance. I will try to do my best

建议LZ去图书馆借阅一下写cover letter的指导书。
个人建议：
1。太短，长度最好1页
2。cover letter不是你说你自己多好，而是从实际例子说明你多好。如：有5年的客户经验，能深刻了解客户的需求及处理客户危机问题
3。不要在cover letter里透露你的年龄和国籍，容易造成歧视

同意第二第三点，至于第一点篇幅是短了些，但也没有必要长到一页。现在结构上主要的问题是主要内容都在一段，结构不清晰。需要合理分段，突出重点。

Cover letters are concidered very important, but it needs to be concise short simple, easy for the selection officer to see your qualities. Instead of in One FULL paragraph, spread things out. and group the relevant qualities and talents together.

Also attach this letter as a word document in the email. Some people don't read emails, they just read what's attached.

中文不是很好，写英文有时候比较快~ 见谅

其实加了Letter heading，上方那些自己和对方的地址联系方式，加最后签名，当中真正能写得没有几个字，但感觉1段还是太少了。
同意LS的，语句要精炼。

[If possible put some past experience in here so they can see what you have done that's relevant to this... the trick is to put ANYTHING that's remotely relevant. They want to see someone with BROAD range of experience, especially with relevance to what they do]
