看了medicare and medibank 的说明，对medibank中的hospital cover还是有些不明白。看上去hospital cover主要是针对in-hospital service as a private patient in prulic hospital or private hospital的。
那么对out -of-hospital service呢，到底有没有好处？如果我买了hospital cover，我是否能到private hospital去看病，比如门诊或者其它一些非住院的普通毛病？收费又是如何？
学习过JJ关于私人保险的大作，觉得好像是有好处的，所以特来请教。

私人保险对out -of-hospital service 好像都不ｃｏｖｅｒ 的。如果磕破了缝个针什么的，私人医院不住院就不管。

hospital cover, as the name suggests, only covers those expenses incurred in hospital when you are admitted for in-hospital services.
general consultation is not covered and the patient has to bear the part of cost which is not covered by medicare
