我小孩在BSHSyear 9 快班，昨天听他说有同学考，我只知道QA 学IB有三个校园，如果暂时没打算去欧美上大学，还有必要去QA吗？能介绍一下QA的毕业生的毕业去向吗？谢谢！

QA毕业生大部分还是在澳洲上大学，升学比例9成5以上，毕竟三所QA高考平均成绩占了昆州的前三名。。

I've been told by school admin that intake for 2017 will be limited to 2. Staff don't have the time to do 4 intakes this year, however if there isn't enough students I think they will have more intakes. Going to QA isn't about studying overseas, kids learn a different curriculum to better handle uni. It is much harder than the state curriculum, so the school choose it students very carefully. The school wants more than just a high scoring student. My son applied for this year.

the amount of students this year taking the exam is really high, I'm thinking they need more time to get organised. QA planned on students accepting the offers before the 19th/may on the interview day, but i guess that has to change now because the offical offer won't be sent for a few weeks. I might call the school on monday to double check. Congratulations to your child for getting into QA. If you are in the bayside area maybe we could carpool our kids to QA

All students who do the exams have to do the interview. To get in you have to pass the exam, have a good report card/ naplan, and pass the interview. The interview is the most important. I've heard from kids that didn't get in because he showed no interest in studying at QA. in the interview, even though he is smarter than his friends that got into QA. For most parents QA is bad location, you might live 30mins by car but it will take your child 1hour and 3o mins by public transport. This is big complaint from current parents.
The school doesn't have a set start and end time, I'm hoping for a few 9am or later start time

It would take me 15-25 mins to drive to the school, depends on the traffic condition. Or 40-60 mins by bus.

me 40mins to 70 mins to drive, if I take the tunnel and bridge 35min but will cost $15. train 90 mins.
3 hours a day is too much wasted time for my son

Every campus does their own thing. Qaci doesn't hold their camp until the beginning of the new year where as qasmt has it at the end of the year. Information should be in the pdf with the enrollment offer

QACI is the hardest to get into. Talent in the arts can't be taught to just anyone.
Each campus has it's own specialty, the core subjects are the same.
Send your kids to the campus that must interest them, as whatever campus they go to it won't limit the uni course they will choose.

Students interested in studying IB Music at the Creative Industries campus are required to show evidence of completion of (or working toward the completion of) a level in music theory equivalent to AMEB Grade 3 Theory.
