各位大侠:上述两间私校之奖学金考试于同一天进行,非常纠结中,不知报考哪间更好.孩子情况汇报: 学习不错,乐器没特别才艺. 急切等待中.十二万分感谢.

两间都不错，两间奖学金都比较少，如果没有偏门乐器才艺，单单靠Academic，奖学金都相差不多，半斤八两。
两间都有不同校区，根据自己的具体情况加以取舍了。。。

My friend's son got a scholarship for Haileybury Yr 7 last year..50% .. I think 50% is a lot..
Haileybury- bigger campus, more focus on academic compare to Caufield ( of course you cannot compare to Melbourne Grammer and Scotch, St Kevin) more western,,, especially the local who live in Brighton,,
Caufield -more chinese, higher% of overseas students,, and your son can learn chinese in school instead of wasting time to go chinese school during weekend.
I personally prefer Haileybury. I like the campus is more origanise and bigger.. but is a bit far if you live near CBD

这种奖学金很难拿到的。。。点开你给的链接，其实第一条就是：
1. Academic
A number of full and fractional Academic Scholarships are awarded to students in Year 6 or 9 for entry into Year 7 and 10 at Berwick, Brighton or Keysborough.
也就是说，haileybury单单Academic全奖也是有的。只是每个私校给奖学金的额度、多少等方面的把握都不尽相同。。。
我所说的这两个学校给的奖学金比较少，只是相比其他一些私校而言，是相对而言。。。

My friend earned less than 80K per year,, but Haileybury only offered their son 50% scholarship.. at th end they picked other private schools which offers him 80% scholarship..
The reason why that the other schools( school B) offers him 80% is becos they knew my friend will pick Haileybury, but school B really likes his son behavour. At the end, offer him 80% .
Thus, it is possible to bargin the % of scholarship provided you kid received few scholarship offers.
