All-Rounder 就是除了学习成绩,其他的各方面也要比较突出. 个人觉得All-Rounder 从量化上更难断定学校的选择标准. 因为每个学校的具体要求不一样. 如果小孩在以下两三个方面发展的不错debating, Public Speaking, Leadership, performing arts, (drawing / dancing), Sport etc. 而且学校同时报两个或三个奖学金种类只收一份报名费的话, 那就除了Aacademic / Music, 也报ALL-Rounder 试试. 有听说孩子报了Music 奖学金最后给了All-Rounder奖学金的.

From MLC Sydney:
MLC School offers limited full and part scholarships for entry to Year 9 external students. The scholarships offered are All-Rounder scholarships.
To be considered, students must firstly obtain excellent results in the ACER scholarship test and excellence in at least three (3) of the following areas: outstanding academic ability, creative and performing arts, debating, public speaking, leadership or sport.
记得学校在申请表格上曾提示
Sport - State team member (最好是 state championship 前３名)
Leadership - 最好是当过 School captain or vice captain 还要求积极参加校外的社会活动
其它几项基本要求好象是: 参加过 state 比赛并获奖.
具体要求各校不一样. 可以向学校查询.
很少见到华人孩子得到 All-Rounder scholarships.
