Entities set up should be done through accountants, incorrect structures will end up being very costly to you as a tax payer. unless the person setting it up is from accounting/tax background and plan to do tax return, financials all by themselves. for extra 200-300 dollars / one off expense, why wouldn't you get a professional to go through the structures and take care of everything for you.
There are plenty of things to save money on, i just don't think this is one of them.
(you can certainly do abit of price shopping, $1000 maybe a bit excessive)
