The applicant is a 62 year old person with:
- Asymptomatic chronic viral Hepatitis B.
..Form and severity of the applicant's condition: the applicant has asymptomatic Hepatitis B Virus
infection and received antiviral treatment . There is laboratory evidence of ongoing viral activity.
Provision of services to a hypothetical person in Australia with the same condition as the applicant and
at the same severity: a hypothetical person in Australia with the same condition as the applicant, at
the same severity, would be likely to require long term specialist health care services, including but not
limited to antiviral pharmaceuticals. This condition is likely to be Permanent.
.
I consider that a hypothetical person with this disease or condition, at the same severity as the
applicant, would be likely to require health care or community services during the period specified
above.
These services would be likely to include:
Medical services
Pharmaceuticals
Provision of these health care and/or community services would be likely to result in a significant cost
to the Australian community in the areas of health care and/or community services.
In preparing this opinion, I have had regard to the information available to date concerning the
applicant, including, but not limited to the reports provided by the Panel Physician dated 9 November
2017 and the laboratory reports dated 12 December 2017.
As part of the processing of that application, the applicants were required to undertake a
medical examination. That examination showed that **** did not meet the health
requirements for the grant of a migrant visa.
Prior to making a final decision on this application, I am required to present the applicants
with a copy of the medical assessment inviting comment from the applicants. A copy of the
original Medical Assessment Form 884 is enclosed.
If the applicants wishes to proceed with the application, further reports from a medical
officer or a specialist should be provided. This information will be forwarded to the Medical
Officer of the Commonwealth for an opinion. You must respond within 28 days after you are
taken to have received this letter. Please send your response to me using the contact details
provided at the bottom of the first page of this letter

hey....im spouse of an applicant who works in the hospital.......i was not a secondary applicant and yet my medicals are still required and it almost made his visa rejected..
they would make u wait very long and the last reply would ask you if you got any appeals or supplementary info to provide for your situation or else they would give u a decision in 28 days...
which is a very negative reply....i divorced my partner..n his PR got granted immediately.....I guess if i insisted it would jeopardize his visa...
my condition is diagnosed long ago n the medical expense fully supported by my own government...but they are still judging my case as a negative one....btw..im under viread..a pill each day...liver functions very normal...

I am now rejected for Hepatitis B and i am wondering if i have chances to resubmit again with the following conditions.
My previous conditions were,
My spouse was cleared for everything ( eg. skill assessments, english, skill, medical assessment) and she was the primary applicant. She didn't have to test for hepatitis B because her skill was IT related.
I applied as a skill migrant ( not dependent) too with the skill of "medical administrator" which has the mandatory requirement for Hepatitis B testing clearance.(I applied as skill migrant because it might add another 5 marks for the point test). My skill " medical administrator" made them thought about risks of spreading the infection to the public.
My new application will be,
My spouse as a primary applicant but I will be the dependent which means that I might not need for Hepatitis B clearance. And I am not going to work in the health related field if am granted the visa. I can change my study probably like IT once I got there which will prevent the spread.
But I wonder whether they will reject again because of the treatment costs.
Please help me!

补further medical report.
The applicant does not satisfy sub-subparagraph PIC 4005(1)(c)(ii)(A) in Schedule 4 to the Migration
Regulations.
The applicant is a 57 year old person with:
- Asymptomatic chronic viral Hepatitis B.
..Form and severity of the applicant's condition: the applicant has Hepatitis B Virus infection which
is asymptomatic on antiviral medications. Provision of services to a hypothetical person in Australia
with the applicant's condition and at the same severity: a hypothetical person in Australia with
this condition, at the same severity as the applicant, would be likely to require ongoing specialist
healthcare services including long-term treatment with antiviral pharmaceuticals. This condition is
likely to be Stable.
.
I consider that a hypothetical person with this disease or condition, at the same severity as the
applicant, would be likely to require health care or community services during the period specified
