i wish to know more about the "First Choice Extra". (Medibank)
the reason why i wish to cover myself is that i got cavities needs to be done with the dentist urgently.
i have a few questions as follows:
Firstly,how much for this first choice extra insurance
does it always go with the first choice hospital insurance or they r separated?
Secondly,can i cover myself only for a period of time: eg. half a yr or one year and then choose to stop the cover when needed.
Thirdly,how long is the waiting period? and how much i can claim for my cavity operation when i go to the dentist. how and where?
Finally, i wish to know whats the effect for my end of June tax? do i still need to pay my medi care tax after i purchase this private insurance?

1. 這個要看年紀,性別 ... 等等, 我目前是交 $15 一個月 for First Choice Extra
2. 你不想保了打個電話跟他們說就可以停了
3. waiting period 牙齒好像是六個月,眼睛 兩個月. 不過你可以叫 sale 幫你 wave 掉
4. 你的 Meid levy 一定要買基本型的保險才能免,買 Extra 是不能免的 (不過好像也不能只買 Extra ....)

waiting period 是可以免的,我的就是因為 sales 說幫我免了我才加入的.
有時候他們做促銷的時候也會說現在加入就免 waiting period
