女儿8岁，从8月20日下午发烧，21日傍晚看医生，医生说没有什么药可以吃，一般会烧3天左右，不好的情况会烧1周。 女儿只有昨日24日未发烧，正暗自庆幸，不料今晨又烧起来。 除了吃panadol, 各位有何建议？
估计去看医生还会是同样的结果: more water, more rest plus panadol if necessary.

除了相信医生，也没什么别的办法了。

如果没有炎症，还是同样的处理。如果有炎症，医生会开消炎药。建议如果孩子嗓子，耳朵有疼痛感，再去看医生，肯定是发炎了。

我建议换个GP再看一次。
上次我女儿就是，第一个什么药也没开，我看第二天她更不舒服了，就又带她去MEDICAL CENTRE，换了个医生，看了一下，马上开出抗生素，很快就好了。

看来我明天真得换个GP看看了，急死我了， 希望我下周可以上班去了， 在家看了5天孩子没去上班，心里空落落的。

不要大意，需要看医生，尤其是在3天后病情加重的话更该再去看一次。不是为了开抗生素，主要是请医生诊断排除一下是否有转肺炎或者其它的可能。今年的流感病毒很厉害，全澳洲已有7个人为此付出了生命。这个建议是医生给的，不是我编的。

Antibiotics is not a cure for everything. If a doctor give out antibiotics easily, that doesn't mean he is a good doctor.
Cold and flu are usually caused by virus which can't be killed by antibiotics. You can't really do anything except more fluids, rest and control the temperature. I usually don't give Panadol to my 2 and 1/2 year old until temperature is above 38.5 and she became cranky. It's a natural body response to infection and helps the body to kill germs. If the kid is running and playing, you don't have to give Panadol (not good for liver due to side effects).
Our family doctor has never given antibiotics for no reason. The more antibiotic you take unnecessarily, your body will became more dependent on stronger antibiotics next time. Why not save it to the time you really need it.
The only time my little one took antibiotics is when she got ear infection from blocked nose. I usually bring her back to our doctor if she is not well after 5 days just to check her ear and lungs. Secondary infection (e.g. pneumonia, ear infection) from cold and flu are usually bacteria and that's the time antibiotics are needed. Kids usually recover from cold and flu within a week, if not, they will need to be re-checked for reassurance.

应该赶紧去看急诊，上次我儿子就是发烧了一周，最高到40度，狗屁GP只会开Panadol，后来直接去医院看了急诊，化验后发现有炎症，打了吊针才控制住。

你自己观察,如果情况在好转,比如,以前烧的温度很高,吃了药退了一会,又起来,现在可以多挺一会,那就是有好转.这样去看医生不会有抗生素的.一般发烧,没炎症,5天左右自己会退的.

换个医生，验尿看有没有炎症。如果发烧很高，可以吃NUROFEN，这个药效比panadol更高
