Honey items
Commercially prepared and packaged honey items will be inspected by a Department of Agriculture and Water Resources officer on arrival into Australia. Non-commercially prepared and packaged honey items must be inspected to confirm the honey items are free from contamination.
Items that do not meet these conditions must be exported from Australia (at the importer’s expense) or destroyed.
