Within 5 Years Of The Expiry 是啥意思？
1.是到期后5年以内
2.还是5年内到期

楼主先把事情前因后果说清楚，看热闹的才好联系上下文。这没头没尾的。
估计是要离开澳洲想问回来以后驾照如果过期了还能不能用吧？那应该是选项1

从来没有驾驶证过期一事。。。到期会寄到你家。。。

If your NSW licence expires while overseas you can generally obtain an overseas photo kit application to renew while overseas, or if you are not driving on your NSW licence you can renew when you return. Provided you renew the licence within 5 years of the expiry the Roads and Maritime Services will allow you to apply as per usual.
Please see the below link to access the Overseas Photo Kit form for you to renew your NSW licence while overseas.

如果你不需要用这个驾照，可以在驾照过期之日起5年之内更新就没事。信里也提醒你，其实你人在海外也可以更新驾照的。
