你可以去try. You can tell them. You don't like Windows 8. I have several customers. They asked me to downgrade Windows 8 in their new laptop back to XP. However, after they saw our used laptop in stock, they simply returned their laptop and got refund by just said "Windows 8 is nightmare for me". Then back to us, bought a used laptop with XP.

就try 一下. 万一不成. 还可以 list on eBay, start from $1, mention clearly why you sell it (this time, it should be the true one.). And remenber to take nice photos, especially the Warranty paper.
