Ask them again nicely to access their database for the code. They may charge, they may not

I don't think they use codes any more, I had to remove mine for repair once and it just booted back up once reinstalled.

If you car manual says you need a radio code to reset the radio...Call A Toyota Dealer...they can access the code held for your vehicle...you may need to confirm you are now the owner..

Most Car manuals (especially something as recent as 2018) are online these days, so go hunting there for the stereo & bluetooth specs.
If you find any codes in the paperwork, write them in the manual & store in the glovebox.
