驾照马上到期， 准备去renew5年，
但是我明年很有可能搬到另外的州。 如果我到别的州到时还得重新办驾照交钱， 拿我这次更新5年是不是浪费了？
或者我现在交的钱，以后在别的州办理驾照时依然认可？

据我之前查的政策来看，是认可的，直接去对应的州办理转换驾照，无需额外交钱的

转换不用交钱，但到期RENEW要交

去别的洲 要换驾照。重新交钱。然后你可以把之前的钱从之前的洲退回来。

Introduction
If you've moved to NSW from another Australian state or territory, you can only drive in NSW on an interstate licence, for 3 months. After that period, you'll need to visit a service centre and apply to transfer your interstate licence to a NSW driver licence.
There's no fee to transfer a current unrestricted or provisional licence. If your licence has expired, or is just about to, a fee will be charged.
