The all-new 2015 Volvo XC90 First Edition will be priced at $120,000 plus on-road costs when it becomes available to Australian buyers via the volvocars.com site at midnight on September 4, 2014.
The $120,000 price tag will make the XC90 First Edition the most expensive Volvo ever sold in Australia, and represents a significant increase over the pricing of the first-generation model. The outgoing XC90 line-up ranges from $69,590 to $75,590, while the highest price tag ever attached to the luxury SUV was $90,950 for the now-discontinued V8 version.
Just 1927 examples of the Volvo XC90 First Edition will be sold worldwide, in a nod to the year the company was founded. All will be sold online, and all will be finished in the same colour (Onyx Black) with an Amber nappa leather interior with a charcoal leather dashboard and walnut highlights. The front seats feature heating and cooling, while the outboard second-row seats are heated. The third-row chairs are electronically operated.
