go to the local Immigration office and have it renewed on the spot(as long as you have stayed in AU longer than 2 yrs in the past 5 yrs)...cost is $260 if my memory is correct....

why dont ya just ring up IMMI to find out more...
It will be more secure to hear out the words from an authorized person, at least if things goes wrong, you can always blame them back.

直接去移民局就能办了。当然如果你过去5年没有住满2年那就可能要找中介了，他们会帮你做材料说你虽然在海外，但是帮澳洲公司在做生意，你会要交些钱作为税。

You don't have to renew it before it's expired. You only need to do it when you are going overseas after the expiry date.
To review the five years visa is very simple:
1. Come to IMMI office to reniew; or
2. Apply it online: http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/residents/155/how-to-apply.htm

如果你人在澳洲境内，不需要出境的话，PR签证过期了不需要续签的。只有你需要出入境的时候才需要续签
