我现在是拿澳洲护照，在澳洲也住了8-9年了。有正式工作。今年6月刚刚帮我爸爸递交了移民申请，现在也拿到file number了。问题是我明年2月我要离开澳洲，估计会在海外住2-3年，想等我爸爸移民下来，我再和他一起回来。
在交申请的时候我是sponsor，如果等申请下来的时候，因为我这两年里不在澳洲，我会叫我堂弟去centrelink做AOS的。问题是我担心，等签证下来的时候，是不是我不能做sponsor，因为这两年我不在澳洲，因而会拒绝我爸爸的申请。
即使有人做AOS，但sponsor不在澳洲，这样的情况会不会影响申请。还想问问，签证下来前一般需要补什么材料，其中有没有关于sponsor的材料？

At the date of lodgement and decision, the sponsor should meet: settled in Australia. Usually, 2 years living before the key date.
HOWEVER, it is depends on many conditions. good luck.

非常感谢！那sponsor一定要是我本人吗？好烦啊，那我在这两年里就不能离开悉尼了？那怎么办，看样子我是不是要去移民局问问看。

The sponsor should meet: settled and resident in Australia.
Under Form 40:
Settled: has been lawfully resident in Australia for a reasonable period. Reasonable period is usually 2 years.
Usually Resident in Australia: this requirement dosen't apply to Australian Citizen sponsoring realtives for parent visa.
So does it mean as Australian Citizen, I don't need to be resident in Australian and I have been settle in Australia before for 2 year. So I still can sponsor my dad even I am in oversea? I am confused now.

2年的要求，是指递交申请 前，sponsor要住满2年
递交申请后，对sponsor的居住要求，貌似没有。。。。
