Please help me if you can.
My mum is already 63 years old and my dad is 68 years old. I want to apply the migration visa for both of them. Maybe mum comes first, then my dad. Do you happen to know which visa subclass my mum should apply? I don't have enough money to speed up this application. Could I know roughly how long it will take? My mum will apply onshore. Any advises are warmly welcome. Thanks a lot.

I am afraid contribution parents visa is the only way to speed up the application. about 1.5 years. Now you can not just apply mum immigrate only.. as she can not sponsor your father for 5 years.

The immigration has new rules:
Amendments in relation to Contributory Parent visa holders sponsoring a partner
From 1 July 2009, amendments have been made to the Migration Regulations to prevent persons who are granted a permanent Contributory Parent category visa (subclasses 143 and 864) from sponsoring their partner for a Partner or Prospective Marriage visa for five years from the day of their visa grant, if they:
were granted their permanent Contributory Parent category visa on or after 1 July 2009; and
were in a spouse or de facto partner relationship on or before the date their permanent Contributory Parent category visa was granted and now wish to sponsor that partner.

i think the que is more than 14000 people now, only 1000(700 off shore,300 on shore) qouta a year...
