Rock fishing alert
For Wednesday 18 May
Dangerous rock fishing conditions are expected on Wednesday 18 May. Large swells of around 3 metres are forecast. An unusual feature of these swells is that very large waves may arrive 15 to 20 minutes apart, giving rock fishers a false impression that conditions are safe.
These conditions could be extremely dangerous for rock fishermen.
Stay home in rough weather! Conditions are expected to return to normal on Thursday.
