Dinosaurs Love Underpants by Claire Freedman, illustrated by Ben Cort (Simon and Schuster, £5.99)
Ages 3+
Our testers loved this! It's the sequel to the very popular Aliens Love Underpants, and I have to say that I (and our testers, aged 3 and 6) enjoyed it even more. The book explains why dinosaurs were really wiped out (er, it had something to do with pants) and is a hilarious romp that can be read over and over again. Great fun.

A Dinosaur Called Tiny by Alan Durant, illustrated by Jo Simpson (Harper Collins, £5.99)

This lovely book quickly became a firm favourite amongst our two, three and four year old testers. It's about a very little dinosaur who not only overcomes being teased for being so small but actually becomes a real hero at the end. Tiny definitely shows that size isn't everything. Really enjoyable and nicely illustrated too.

Mungo and the Dinosaur Island, by Timonthy Knapman and Adam Stower, Puffin, £10.99

The latest in the brilliant Mungo stories, this is a wild tale of Mungo's adventure rescuing the dinosaurs from Scarface Sam and his men. Wonderful fun, excellent illustrations and a real cut above the average. Set to become a firm favourite and comes highly recommended.

This brilliant book by best-selling author/illustrator Nick Sharratt was a huge hit with our four year old tester, and was even pinched by his seven year old sister! It's a huge hardback book filled with pictures of dinosaurs and also eight magnets which you can use however you choose. Do you want your dinosaur to eat a boat, an aeroplane or a house? It's up to you.......Original and excellent fun. Would make a lovely present too.

Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs: Missing Treasure, by Giles Andreae, illustrated by Russell Ayto, Puffin, £10.99

This fantastic book was absolutely loved by our testers, aged 3, 4 and 6. It's one of those picture books that definitely isn't just for little ones. Instead it's a rollicking tale of how Flinn and his friends rescue some missing treasure from some dastardly dinosaur pirates. Terrific - even though you may have to read it to your children hundreds of times!

Tyrannosaurus Drip, by Julia Donaldson, illustrated by David Roberts, Macmillan, £5.99

The Tyrannosaurus family don't know what to with the strange looking creature who has hatched in their nest, but he soon sorts himself out! Brilliant fun from the creator of the Grufallo. Slightly older kids will love this, and you adults will probably enjoy it too.

This lovely book is all set to assuage any first day school fears. Truly delightful, beautifully illustrated and a must buy when your child is heading for Reception.

The Littlest Dinosaur, by Michael Foreman, Bloomsbury, £10.99

Another book about a tiny dinosaur who shows he has a big, brave heart - in the end it's his size which makes all the difference and saves his whole family. A bit more thoughtful than some of the other dinosaur books around, as it's not only the tiny dinosaur who suffers because of his size, but also the long-necked one, who thinks he's too big too help. Heart warming, but not quite a 5/5 because we didn't love the illustrations.

科普的有澳洲ABC出版的The ABC Book of Dinosaurs和美国自然博物馆出的ABC Dinosaurs。儿子都很喜欢。
我们都是从图书馆借为主了，实在买不过来，太多好书了。
