今天去社区护士那里体检，小丁丁现在整3个月，65.5cm，7.4kg重了。

湿疹不算太严重，护士教我们继续涂aveeno baby，但他更推荐Dermaveen，说他自己就是用这个的。

还有一个方法缓解湿疹带来的痒的不适感。就是用oats，放在丝袜里，然后丢在澡盆里给宝宝洗澡。

我半信半疑的回来放狗搜了一下，还果然是真的。。。赶紧和大家分享下


Oats – eczema remedies

This might sound strange, but oats have been used for centuries as an eczema remedy (I read since the time of ancient Egypt?). It’s used as a natural eczema remedy both by consuming as part of your diet, and by applying directly on the affected areas.

Oats are great used as an eczema remedy since it contain properties that sooth inflammation caused by eczema and relieves the intensity of the itch. It helps hydrate and stop the skin from drying out.

Since many people who suffer from eczema are intolerant to wheat products, oats are a good alternative to go for in terms of adding good carbs to your diet.

For a healthy, eczema friendly breakfast; Add 4 tablespoons of instant oats into a microwavable bowl and add enough water to cover the top of the oats. Cook for a few minutes until the oats start rising. Take it out of the microwave and add whatever you want! You can add chopped banana, raisins, strawberries, berries or dried fruit. If you like it sweet (like I do) then instead of adding sugar, drizzle some honey on the top. Honey is great for strengthening the immune system.

Another option is to make your own muesli by adding dried oats, a selection of nuts and dried fruit with milk. If you’re lactose intolerant then opt for soya milk, rice milk, almond milk or even oat milk!

Eczema Remedies

Oat baths:

Take some dried rolled oats, place them into a clean sock (or tights), tie into a knot, and then place in your warm bath. Leave it for 10 minutes then sit in the bath for another 10 minutes.

To help increase the benefits of your oat bath, you can add full fat milk and honey to your oat bath. Both the milk and honey will help lock in moisture into your skin and help sooth your eczema. Heat up a cup of the milk in the microwave for 1 minute then add 1 teaspoon of honey in the warm milk and mix well. The reason you want to warm the milk is to make sure the honey melts completely. Add this mixture to the oat bath. You can even use the sock with oats to scrub your skin with.

Oat face cleanser:

Oats is moisturizing and nourishing for the skin. I love using it as a base for my cleanser. Put some oats in a sieve, place the sieve over a plastic container and run it under the tap. What you will end up with in the container is a cloudy coloured oat “milk”. I use this in the morning to cleanse my face. Just add some of the oat milk onto cotton pads and rub it on the face in a circular motion.

Another cleanser I love, I make by using 2 tbsp of oats then adding 1 teaspoons of witch hazel. The witch hazel acts as a toner, closing the open pores on the face. Then I add a few drops of water, enough to make a paste like substance. Rub this on the face then rinse off with warm water.
