想请教大家刚察觉怀孕现在买私人医疗保险还来得急吗？现在马上要找去找医院预约吗？
没有私人医疗保险能不能去私人医院生？MEDICARE能退么?
还想请教HURSTVILLE附近哪家公立医院比较好？私立医院哪家好？

如果你愿意出钱，可以先打电话给私人医院，问要花多少钱，我一个同事问过，基本费用好像是8000，不知道包括什么，据说小孩如果生下来有需要进加护病房观察的价格是一天1500。。。一个字。。。贵。

已经怀孕了再买保险就来不及了，不过没有保险还是可以看私人医生的，Medicare 可以报一部分回来，但大多数还是自己出钱了。

If you already pregnant, it is too late for private insurance.
Most health fund has a 12 month waiting period for obstetric care.
Only one health Fund I know has a 9 month waiting period for pregnancy related care

我买的是medibank，12个月等待，研究过了，就是说如果你想今年12月份怀孕，在9月份买上保险就行了，想哪个月怀孕，提前3个月买保险就行。

计划不如变化。
I have seen many MM who fell pregnant during their private insurance's waiting period and have to pay for their private hospital fee of thousands of dollars. I have also seen some MM drop their health insurance after delivery and find themself pregnant again without private cover.
