我们小朋友是国内出生的，PREP到了澳洲。目前三年级，但是他喜欢的电视都是youtube中文游戏讲解，对于本地ABC KIDS什么完全不感兴趣（肯定不是语言问题），我担心他不能很好和学校别的小朋友交流。这个顾虑有意义吗？

3年级8岁了，abc kids频道是太幼稚了，当然不看。abc me可以。

It actually is fairly important that your child can speak the same "talk" as others to be able to gain the most postive experience out of school, not just academics. I think there are 2 shows to help if you wish your child to assimilate better in a local setting, actually it will also help you to understand local schools too, if you are interested:
1) "Little Lunch" - this one is very good and helps with learning about the playground dynamics and the general feel of what Aussie kids are like at that primary age.
2) "Inbestigators" - similar to Little Lunch, extra mystery and plays on the fact kids immagination can run a little wild.
These shows will not particularly be referenced at school, but it will definitely help both yourself and your child get a good feeling of what primary is like in Australia, obviously things are exaggerated to some degree for comic value.
That's all your child needs for primary school to help with playground/culture language. However, My children watch both English/Chinese shows but my son, mostly engage in gaming talk at school. Rocket League/Minecraft/Brawl Stars etc sometimes Beyblades (until they got banned) Pokemon and sports, he is 9 now.

这个顾虑很有意义。我有一朋友孩子3年级从国内来的，现在7年级。不是英文不好，是跟同学玩不到一起去。他平时都是看中文的节目，youtube也是看中文的。学校里同学说的什么youtuber,歌呀，电影呀，他都不知道，他说的，他同学又不知道。
就像楼上说的，多玩点游戏。孩子都喜欢玩游戏的。
