基本上，integrity，compassion是高频词。

我觉得学校价值观不能听学校怎么说（不管是其网站上还是校长讲话），而是要看学校怎么做。我所参观的学校都是说全面发展，培养现代的优秀人才之类，但是进了学校后才感觉到，很多都是口号，学校真正的价值观得自己慢慢摸索才明白。

当年选学校的时候，觉得学校的口号不错，其他口碑成绩的什么也不差，就进去了。过了两年才感觉到学校的培养目标跟我家的培养方向不一致，真有一种上当受骗的感觉。所以以后再选学校，再也不听什么value或者口号之类的了。

口号年年讲月月讲，肯定有用。
记得我们小时候的学校的标语是：勤奋 好学 守纪 进取。看似口里喊喊没什么用，其实都渗到我们国人的骨子里了。

我孩子原来上的学校因为华人少，所以可获得的真实信息很少，只能看学校口号和一些指标（例如VCE排名）。跟澳洲家长沟通时，因为毕竟跟他们不熟，所以不管喜不喜欢这个学校，他们都只给了一些无法参考的信息。最好的了解学校的方法，其实是能得到众多不同学生及家长在该校的真实感受，但是这个方法有时却是最难实现的。

华人家长能反馈的特别细。
当然我目前没有碰到啥问题，时间还短。但是从别的事情来看，对澳洲家长口中的好，是有开始打问号的。
