2019 - Scholarships
Applications for Mercy Scholarships for students entering Year 7 in 2020 are open until Friday 15 February 2019.
Three types of Mercy Scholarships will be awarded:
Mercy Scholarship for Academic Excellence
Mercy Scholarship for Music Excellence
Mercy Scholarship for Alumnae
Mercy Scholarships provide full or part remission of tuition fees. All other costs, including resource fees, co-curricular activities and uniforms, are required to be met in full by the families.
Applicants for all OLMC scholarships are required to sit the Allwell Scholarship Test which take place at the College on Saturday 2 March 2019.
6. Pacific Hills Christian School
Scholarships
Academic Scholarships allow Pacific Hills to extend the benefits of a quality Christian education to students with strong academic potential. Academic Scholarships are offered as follows:
Years 7 to 10 (4 years)
Years 11 to 12 (2 years)
Scholarships, of up to 60%, are available at both of these entry points. They cover the cost of all mandatory courses and tuition, camps and excursions. School uniforms, textbooks, stationery and optional activities including mission trips are the responsibility of the family of all Academic Scholarship recipients.
Scholarship candidates are required to undertake an Academic Aptitude Assessment through the Australian Council of Educational Research (ACER). These occur mid way through Term 1 of the year preceding the year of enrolment. All candidates are notified of the Scholarship results midway through Term 2.
Scholarship Application Requirements
If you are interested in having your child sit for a scholarship, please register by following the procedure outlined. (Late registrations will be accepted up until 22 February 2019 and incur a late fee of an additional $120.)
Details of Testing
Scholarship examinations are held at Pacific Hills Christian School.
The scholarship application fee is $100.
The closing date for applications is 15 February 2019.
Examination date: Saturday 2 March 2019
Who Should Apply:
Apply for a Level 1 ACER Scholarship Test if your child will enter Year 7 in 2020.
Apply for a Level 3 ACER Scholarship Test if your child will enter Year 11 in 2020.
