孩子该入学了，开始看学校和房子，突然发现似乎doncaster和templestowe的公立小学还不错，http://bettereducation.com.au/sc ... _school_rating.aspx
如果这个网站给的信息准确，templestowe和doncaster几个小学的academic比起传统的mt waverley 和glen的表现都好，真弄不清楚了，想请知道的tz给点意见。。。
考虑孩子的教育我们想搬到mtwaverley去，不知道是不是又错了。。

Doncaster Gardens Primary school 是一个极好的学校。Glen 与Mt Waverley 并没有什么好学校的。

SERPELL去的人太多了，已经破千人了

这里小学是不错，但是中学很普通，中学当然是GLEN,BALWYN好。

Glen的mountview小学怎么样？

Mountview- 40% chinese, 40 -50% " curry -man"- Indian, Sri Lankan, 10% loal aussie,,,total enrolment 932 students.
Doncaster Garden- more than 60% are chinese, u hardly see any " curry- man"in the school.. total enrolment 541 students. Heard the feedback from parents, it is a very caring students. School
Serpell Primary - , more than 50% chinese students. total enrolment 906 students. no school zone apply .depends on which side of Doncater East u are living,, for example, if your house is near Donvale, they won't accept ur enrolment application. Is a very big school
Three are them are 1. highly focus on academic result.2. having chinese language class in schools

I think Camberwell Primary is quite good as well. However, do you have to live close enough to be enrolled?
The school does not say you have to live in the zone. However, if we live in Hartwell (south part of Camberwell), they might think Hartwell primary is nearest to you instead.

Camberwell Primary School and Doncaster Garden : The closest primary school from your property...
This will become a standard procedure among all schools.
For example, the enrolment policy has changed this year for both EDSC and GWSC,,, there is no such school zone applied in both East Doncaster Secondary and Glen Waverley Secondary( as you can see the school zone map has been removed from their website). Again, they based on " the closest High School from your property", NOT by postcode or school zone MAP.
If you are unsure,, just ring up the school Admin office and tell them your address, they will use their system to check whether your address is eligable for enrolment.

不用，我也住在Hartwell那里，他们给了我position，但我最后还是去了Hartwell，CAMBERWELL PRIMARY 那里交通很挤，不是很方便，反正也就是几年迟早要送私校的。

( I just rang up the admin office in few popular primary schools)-->The school will accept the students outside the neighbourhood area only when it have "spare places" in that year.. But it won't be happen in Mountview and Doncaster Garden because they are VERY popular,, So many chinese hunt for both schools.

lz DONCASTER EAST 的BEVERLEY HILL 小学 也非常好，RANKING和SERPELL 一样，2009年都是99分

明年也该上了，俺也来补补课。看那个网站上，离家腿儿着到的这个去年99，非英语国家40%，总共学生才360，我看mount view 900多呢。。。给点儿经验，听说要多报几个学校，还要再多几个选择备着不？
