figures from Australian Property Monitors showed that for the top-20 primary schools based on the MySchool data (of which there are actually 21 because two schools were tied), 17 had price growth over the past year compared with the Sydney median house price, which slumped 1.6 per cent over the same period.
This can be shown by the popularity of schools that don't have a top MySchool ranking but which still attract students.
One of these is Killarney Heights Public - still ranked in the top 25 per cent - which has a highly regarded bilingual program in French and English. Harvey says the school has attracted French speakers from all over Sydney wanting to send their children there.

为什么killara 周边的apartment那么贵,就是因为有个好学校。
个人觉得那个完全根据My school NAPALN排名不完全准确,很多是根据Y5的result排名,有些学校由于没有OC班,到Y5很多好的学生都转走了,所以Y5成绩会比Y3差。所以看排名的时候要注意。 当然,Top20的始终还是很好的。

Does it mean those schools without OC classes, such as Deniston East, Murray Farm, Epping West and Carlingford West, are really good? Students of these schools don't need to suffer the stress of OC students but still achieve good results.

what do you mean stress of OC? 是指考OC的鸭梨,还是读OC的鸭梨?我看OC带来的压力只是一时的,而在好学生成堆儿,攀比的家长成堆儿的学校里,压力却是整个小学阶段的7年时间,如果父母或孩子的内心不够强大的话,那才是真的suffer.
