请问坛子里有没有学Tax Institute CTA3 Advisory的？
或者学过的大神能否分享一下经验。
刚上的第一个case study就被session leader说大部分人提交的draft solutions连 50%都拿不到？（70% pass)
不知这个课通过率如何？

I passed this course as it is a hard course due to your deep understanding on tax (certain topics without work experience in that area is very tough). Private message me and see what I need (you get the idea)

people who studied cta 3 most are working in ca firms (big4, second tier ca firms, suburban ca firms or relatively few commercial firms people) or lawyers

Actually the topics from 2017 has reduce from 6 to 4. This may affect the topics cover over the final exam.
The case studies I completed at the time were as follows:
CGT (small business)
GST and financial services
International Tax
M&A AND Resources Taxation
Corporate Tax
CGT & Trust

I forgot to mention
Prior to the exam, they will supply the Assessment booklet with topics in additional to the above topics. Other topics that can allow candidates to choose from are
- R&D tax incentives
- Stamp duty (for lawyers)
- Transfer Pricing
- Employee Share Schemes

This subject is so much easier than CTA 3.
Study well and certain aspects from CTA2A & 2B will help you a little bit for CTA 3

Yes CTA 3.
About 4 to 6 weeks prior to the exam, tax institute assessment booklet release a number of case studies topics for you to choose 1 to do in the exam. There will be a late breaking fact which will change your written advice (on the letter of advice).

Just completed CTA3 in Oct. It's hard in terms of understanding what they are actually asking

Have you received the result and the CTA certificate yet? I received the result (not this year) but I did not receive the certificate from them.

Result was received. Certificate not yet, it is on its way (takes 4 weeks to arrive as per institute)
