Item J: for non technical reading which does not relate to your work, the maximum hours you can claim is10 hours.
Item I: for technical reading that relates to your work and it does not seem to have a maximum number of hours you can claim.
Here is the exact wording
"Maximum number of hours you can claim for one type of activity
The only CPD activity with a limitation on recordable hours is "Reading, video and audio" (CPD activity code J). You can claim up to 10 hours of reading for this CPD activity code per year. All other CPD activities have no limitations on number of hours you can claim.
If you have completed any technical reading that helps your professional development you can claim this under self-study (CPD activity code I)."
