在澳大利亚CA/CPA学习和考试



大家知道CPA（full member/qualified）怎么转成CA吗，需要再考哪几门？有experience或者mentor的要求吗？

no exemption at all, you need pass all 5 CA courses. you need to find a CA mentor

重头来，CA可以转CPA，CPA换CA就跟刚毕业一样

CPA changed policy back to 2010, CA to CPA, max 2 courses can be exempted

Agree. My husband has both CPA and CA qualification. He did all exams for both CPA and CA. No exemption at all.

There are few ways to get CA subject exemptions
a) Completed CIMA program to obtain MAAF subject exemption
b) Completed Tax Institute of Australia CTA 2A & CTA 2B subjects to get CA Tax subject exemption and CPA tax exemption
c) Completed the required subjects in Masters of Taxation ( to get CA Tax subject exemption). Typically around 4 subjects
d) Completed the India's CA program (to get CA exemptions on all technical modules)

Having said that, for potential candidates, here are the number of routes available
a) Completed the longest route (complete the CPA program and then complete the CA program). i.e. 11 subjects
b) Another very long route - Completed the Tax institute CTA 2A & CTA 2B, claim the exemption from CPA tax module. Then finish the remaining 5 subjects from the CPA program. Claim the tax subject exemption from the CA program and then complete the remaining 4 CA subjects
c) Do the CA program instead of the CPA program. i.e. 5 subjects
d) Do some subjects from CPA program without finishing the whole program and switch to do the CA program
e) Another long route (complete the required tax subjects from Master of tax) and claim the CA tax subject exemption i.e. to complete around 8 subjects (4 from CA program and 4 from masters of tax)
f) The longest route (complete CIMA program) before starting the CA program

Another route without completing the CA program: you need to be the partner of a CA firm, and sponsor by 2 CA partners. The 2 CA partners need to complete a form and recognise you as the firm's partner I suppose.
