各位高人：
请问CA和CPA有什么很大的区别吗？对职业有什么不同的影响吗？
另外为什么开会计师事务所的话为什么最好要一个CA一个CPA呢？
还有就是CPA的work experience需要在什么样的公司取得呢？什么公司都行吗？还是是CPA认证的呢？如果是CPA认证的那么有那些被认证的公司清单吗？

CA is the member of Global Accounting Alliance. If you CA qualified, you can get HKCPA membership without sitting any test.
CPA is not the member of Global Accounting Alliance, and it has a Mutual recognition agreement with HKCPA. However you must finish your CPA in Australia or HK, and you have to pass the Auditing and Financial Risk Management in your CPA program.
CA is quite popular in the world as it is the member of Global Accounting Alliance. if you work in the public practice in Australia, you better get CA. CA can be the mentor of CPA, however CPA cannot be the mentor of CA. CA program has assignment, and in the exam it has the short answer questions only. CPA does not have assignment, and in the exam it has the multiple choice questions and short answer questions.
if you can find the CA Mentor, you should be with CA rather than CPA.

我的理解是CA主要是在public practice firm 工作的, 例如auditing.
CPA比较大众化, 你可以在任何公司的finance department工作, 不需要一定从事publice practice.

我工作的地方9个人的department,几乎全部都是CPA member, 2个CPA,3个semi-qualified 的CPA.... 夸张的说,不小心一块面包砸过去,就能砸中咯~

well, One of my friend told me. Her BF is CA and ask her to do CPA. The reason is CA and CPA together in a company can make advantage. But i don't know why.

CPA 只要找个IFAC 的member就行，CA CPA IPA 都OK，中国的CPA也可以做 澳洲CPA的mentor
ICAA mentor 相对窄太多，基本就本土CA可以，其他零星的几个会计机构的member可以做ICAA的mentor

你在CPA 官方网站 搜索 WHO CAN BE THE MENTOR， 里面说 IFAC 的MEMBER 都OK。然后去IFAC 查一下，中国CPA 我记得在上面

CA 必须找到CA MENTOR 才能开始学,而且需要你是certain position 才行，反正就最开始注册的时候比CPA麻烦

CPA 是可以先考试 再累计工作经验的，CA 要求工作经验和考试同时的，或者是有工作经验再考试。所以刚毕业的学生考CPA的比较多

楼主既然是留学生，我劝你先就业，有了澳洲学历，CPAA考不考以后再看。
至于CA嘛，你不做外审基本不要那个玩意。

据我所知， 考CA的一般要在CA公司里工作才行， 考CPA的可以在别的公司甚至非会计职位都可以。 CA的进入门槛比较高。
