我也在看，第一章是蛮难明白的，不过应该是占重比列最少的，大概看一下得了，哈哈，我在看第三MODULE，计算题目开始了，发现题目不难，但是具体到计算还蛮复杂的，一般的计算器好像还算不出，郁闷了。。。。也想请教前辈们，这门一定要用上FINANCE CALCULATOR 吗？ 有什么经验或者笔记可以分享呀？

LS几位放轻松，考试绝对不会考那种特别复杂的计算题的，唯一的计算就是算汇率，不要想太多了。这门容易的很。

绝对不止计算汇率这么简单，肯定有关于NPV和PROJECT EVALUATION的计算。

dun worry for majority chinese it should be an easy subject to pass....
cant rmb exactly wut i did..but here r sth u need to pay attention to...
make sure u know how to :
calculate the BBSW...the point as in FX and among banks...
bond price/ rate or use the formula to get different component..
apply sell/ put option/ swaption / cashflow hedging and the like to help company manage FRM..
calculate FX stuff...
lots of theories on cashflow hedge...

Hi...sorry....wish i could help... but i cant recall much .... all gone back into the thick book already..
but briefly... call option = buy option (i.e. option to buy the underlying financial instrument, can choose not to buy without penalty )
put option = sell option (i.e. option to sell the underlying financial instrument with a fixed cost, cannot choose not to sell once the buyer wants to execute the trade unless you pay the buyer the fixed cost (i.e. premium ))
options can used in trading interest rate, FX or other commodities...
Hedging in FRM/ finance context is the practice to mitigate potential risks that you concern about by engaging in trading derivatives such as buying a FX Call option to buy foreign currencies on a certain date (normally you have to execute within 3 months ) with the agreed rate. If , in future, the FX rate in the market is better for u , u can choose not to execute the trade... ... If the future rate in the market is worse to u...u can choose not to buy...
But if it's a put option ...u have to execute the trade unless u pay the premium to the buyer.
Hope I'm rite...anyone can help her further ? my FRM stuff totally gone back to the book...

If the future rate in the market is worse to u...u can choose to execute the call option...then the seller will have to sell them to you at the agreed rate....if the seller dun wana sell...the seller has to pay u a fixed cost (i.e. the premium)..."

Is the entries for hedge accounting important? I can understand the theory but, could anyone explain the method 2 how it's posted?
We have FX transactions but is not hedged. So this part for me is bit confusing.

对于IRR,要真没财务计算器，反正是选择题，你可以逐个算，算三个就知道答案了，呵呵
