在澳大利亚CA/CPA学习和考试



有没有这个学期学FOUNDATION LEVEL 的同学呀?

我是第一学期, 有没有上个学期学的介绍介绍经验.

我觉得学习的内容还可以, 不是很多. 对于考试是不是看书然后做书后的习题就可以了.
有没有买其他的学习资料的必要呀?

我同事也没有过，然后去问，人家说这个和CPA一样基本是60-70%过才是pass的，所以不要以为entry exam就很简单。

Anyone has any experience for passing the exam.
Any extra test material needed to buy or reading the text book they sent to you is enough?

上上个学期学了两门，全PASS了。其中一门是法律，比较耗时间，另外一门内容很少。总体感觉还可以，但是一定要花一定的时间准备，100道选择题覆盖的内容很广，有些是从来没见过的。对于我这样全职工作的人来说，学这个还是比学Open uni省力。

I took these two as well for this semester.

can i please ask what kind of your degree background? did you study any accounting subjects either in China or AUS?

是的，就是这两门。如果有点会计基础accounting concepts and principles 这门就省事了。我的主要精力花在了Law上。 除了书本之外再没看过别的资料，也不知道还能看什么。

不用太担心，总得来说还是不难的，祝你好运～～

不过的原因可能太忙啊了，没有时间认真复习。去年就报了accounting concepts and principles. 但是full time上班，有一个一岁多的宝宝，还在怀孕，所以可能力不从心。其实考试真的不算难，只是面很广。今年报了两门，和楼主一样。共勉！

I passed 3 subjects (foundation level) last semester:
Financial Accounting and reporting
Business Law
Accounting concepts

I found that Financial Accounting is the hardest. I spent a lot of time on it, but still very concerned after the exam.
Business Law is not hard, but need your time and efforts.
Accounting concepts is an easy subject. The book is much thinner than the other two. Some topics are covered in first two chapters of Financial accounting.

can i please ask you whether you are working as full time?

I believe i can not pass all the 3 in one semester. believe you must spent a lots of your spare time for studying. Good on you : )

Did you get any exemption from CPA?

Yes, I did work full time.

I got exemption from other 5 subjects of foundation level. I struggled whether I should complete the 3 in one semester. The target is only "pass", so I gave it a go.

我是广州过来的,用中大会计硕士课程评估的,只豁免了5科,需要考3科目,其中上次考Business Law与Accounting concepts没有过,,其实会计容易多了,但是忽略了一个重要问题--就是每个章节必须过70%(个人感觉),所以其中有2章节各5分的没有太去记住条条框框(考试时候就知道猜的某条),弄的是40%与50%.其他都过70%,结果FAILED.
那LAW我确实没有复习好，尽管花的时间不少--但是方法没有对,就是看的CPA提供的书太少了,现在陆续借回来看才发现这个问题,另外一个重要原因---总是与中国那熟练用了快20年的LAW要区别后才能记住---混的很哟.估计还有个原因就是剖产完老二后马上投入复习,记忆力严重减弱!现在倒回去看,考试没有考好,身体恢复迟缓了--所以劝各位正怀BB的姐妹"悠着点"
最近尝试周六去USYD的FISHER RESEARCH 图书馆去看书借书,在家总是被BB揪住.平常又上班哟--会计公司忙的很.
所以希望有论坛里周六能出来看书的集中集中讨论问题,SHARE资源哟,谢谢哟.如果方便请联系我哟0430 112298

I should ask for more exemptions. i am wondering the max will be 4 subjects. should argue more. but anyway, i still need to 1 year to finish it. just take it easy la........

believe you have put lots of time and efforts to pass 3 subject.

I can not imagine for doing it myself.

Just wish i can pass these 2 straight away.

周六去USYD的FISHER RESEARCH 图书馆去看书借书的话,如果你们车没有USYD停车标志的,建议不要开车去---因为我每周六都拿几张VISITOR PARKING不太好,建议最好坐火车到REDFERN 火车站集中,然后我可以LIFT你们.
当然,大家可以建议另外一个地方也可以,只要方便讨论与借书.

共同努力啊， 这学期考3门， 希望可以顺利通过。btw，accounting concepts的书我已经看完了， 内容挺简单但是做练习还是有很多不确定的，争取再多看几遍，个人感觉理解更重要哈。

楼主可以考虑考CA的entrance？6门课每门20个选择题，我觉得不算很难，而且还省钱。

昨天才拿到assessment 的结果。要求补四冂课。昨天急急忙忙enroll financial  accounting 和 management accounting. 有人考过吗？看书就可以还是要同时看cpa的参考资料

看CPA提供的STUDY GUIDE都可以了, 不用花时间看参考书

前面有人提到某些SECTIONS 低分, 而总分超过70%都会FAIL, 但去年我都有类似情况, 但我全部四科PASS
